Egyptian Youth and FRA Forge Fintech Partnership

Egyptian youth and financial services regulators established a partnership to advance entrepreneurship and innovation in fintech and non-banking financial services. The initiative includes training programs and workshops across governorates to build financial literacy and business models among young participants.
The agreement enables promising ideas to become scalable businesses through the FRA’s regulatory sandbox, which supports youth-led projects and financial technology development. This collaboration aims to strengthen co-operation between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Financial Regulatory Authority.
Key officials involved include Minister of Youth and Sports Gohar Nabil, Chairperson of the FRA Islam Azzam, Permanent Undersecretary Mohamed Saeed Mazen, and Executive Director Ahmed Khalifa, who signed the memorandum of understanding to implement these measures.
