Pakistan Extends Airspace Ban on Indian Aircraft Until November 24

Pakistan has extended its airspace restriction for Indian aircraft operations until November 24, 2026, as per a Notice to Airmen (Notam) from the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA). The ban, which previously expired on October 24, now runs until 04:59am on November 24, 2026, effective from 7:45pm on Saturday.
This extension follows India-Pakistan airspace closures initiated in late April 2025 after heightened tensions following an attack in India-occupied Kashmir’s Pahalgam. Pakistan’s military authorities had previously imposed immediate airspace restrictions on all Indian-owned or Indian-operated airlines as retaliation for New Delhi’s actions.
The country’s airspace is divided into two flight information regions under the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority’s 2022 framework.
