LPSA Africa President of the Year 2026 Award Honours Kenyan Leaders

Raila Amolo Odinga received the LPSA Africa President of the Year 2026 Award during a ceremony honoring distinguished Kenyan leaders. The event also presented the LPSA Commonwealth Diplomat of the Year 2026 Award to Her Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto, who serves as President of the Republic of Kenya.

The awards highlighted the significance of entrepreneurs, business executives, and community advocates in advancing economic opportunity and social progress. Anna Vanderpuye, CEO/Director of INGO Third Sector Resource Ltd and African Business Roundtable UK Chapter, was among the honorees for her role in promoting international cooperation.

The LPSA awards acknowledged the importance of diplomatic engagement and peacebuilding efforts. Her Excellency Dr. Ruto’s work in democratic reform and political reconciliation was cited as a key reference for leaders addressing political conflicts and strengthening democratic institutions.
