FCT Minister Links Economic Recovery to Tinubu’s Ongoing Reforms

The Federal Capital Territory’s Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, asserts that Nigeria’s full economic recovery hinges on maintaining the economic reforms launched by President Bola Tinubu’s administration. This claim was made during a stakeholders’ consultation at the Rainbow Coalition’s meeting in Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers on Saturday.
Wike described the current economic measures as essential to reviving a system that was nearly collapsed when Tinubu assumed office. He stated that the nation must continue Tinubu’s policies to avoid further deterioration.
The council’s Executive Chairman, Dr Chukwu Shedrack, highlighted Wike’s impactful development projects in the area, including infrastructure and healthcare improvements. Shedrack pledged full APC support for legislative backing of Tinubu’s economic agenda through a block vote for all 2027 elections.
