Trump Announces Russia-Ukraine Energy Ceasefire Agreement

US President Donald Trump declared Sunday that Russia and Ukraine had mutually agreed to cease strikes on each other's energy infrastructure, implementing an ENERGY CEASEFIRE effective immediately in the War between Russia and Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated the ceasefire announcement was "news for me" after learning of it from Trump's Truth Social post within minutes, confirming the news for him without immediate Moscow response.

Trump emphasized both parties had agreed to the ceasefire and urged restraint from Kyiv and Moscow, warning they must not break the agreement.

The ceasefire announcement was made public via Trump's Truth Social network, where he wrote it was effective immediately and both sides had agreed.
