House of Reps Committee Confirms Confidence in Tinubu and Pipeline Operators

The House of Representatives Committee on Host Communities passed a vote of confidence in President Bola Tinubu, NNPC Limited, and Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited (PINL) and its Managing Director, Dr. Osahon Okunbor, citing improvements in pipeline security, crude oil recovery, and production.

The committee report recommended extending PINL’s pipeline surveillance contract, declaring allegations against the company and its Managing Director unsubstantiated, and dismissing the petition while discontinuing further investigations into the matters raised.

Additionally, the report called for a vote of confidence in President Tinubu, the National Security Adviser, NNPC Limited, and the pipeline surveillance contractors identified in the report.
