NPA Conducts Public Education at Ho Festival on Petroleum Sector Rights and Safety

The Authority conducted public education at Ho’s annual festival, engaging chiefs, government officials, residents, and visitors on their rights and responsibilities within Ghana’s downstream petroleum sector. NPA officers from Consumer Services, Business Development, and Corporate Affairs Directorates, directed by Volta Regional Manager Mr Prospero Kojo Cyriaano-Olympic, addressed festivalgoers.
The campaign highlighted suspected fuel under-delivery at retail outlets, the 10-litre measuring can for identifying discrepancies, and LPG safety practices. Mr Cyriaano-Olympic encouraged participants to report under-delivery incidents to the NPA for investigation and action.
Participants were also educated on LPG safe handling to reduce home and environmental risks. The NPA’s Call Centre was promoted as a resource for complaints, information, and petroleum service concerns.
