Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, pledged to enhance affordability and security in Nigeria, attributing the escalating cost of living to President Bola Tinubu’s administration. He made this commitment on his official X account Wednesday, urging voters to secure their Permanent Voter Cards ahead of the 2027 elections.

Atiku emphasized that Nigerians across age groups and economic statuses face financial strain and insecurity, noting that young people work diligently but spend their earnings on transport, rent, and essential needs. He warned that hunger and insecurity should not coexist, stressing the need to avoid passing current challenges to future generations.
