Two men charged with bank card theft on Vietjet flight to Singapore

Shu Zaijun and Dong Bangjun were each charged with theft after allegedly stealing bank cards during a Vietjet flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Singapore on October 12. Shu is accused of taking two debit cards from a passenger’s bag around 8.30am, while Dong allegedly stole one credit card on the same flight.

Court documents indicate the men were not alleged to have worked together on the thefts, though both were charged separately on October 14. The incident occurred on a Vietjet flight departing Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with no disclosure of whether they coordinated the card thefts.
