Edo Governor Promises Market Rebuilding After Fire

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has committed to rebuilding Oluku Market, which was damaged by a fire, and supporting traders who lost their shops and goods in the incident.

The governor made this promise following an inspection of the damage at the market, situated along the Benin-Lagos Road in Ovia North-East Local Government Area.

Oluremi Tinubu expressed sympathy with the victims and the families of those who lost their lives during the incident.

Governor Okpebholo also warned residents to avoid fire disaster scenes involving petrol to prevent additional casualties.

The governor criticized the owner of the affected tanker for bringing another tanker to transfer fuel without following proper safety measures.
