The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, intercepted a Saudi-bound drug shipment concealed in palm oil at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport. The cannabis was found in a gallon of palm oil during a search of the consignment.
At the Apapa port in Lagos, NDLEA, in collaboration with the Nigeria Customs Service, discovered a shipment of powdered tramadol from India. The consignment was falsely declared as maize starch.
On October 14, NDLEA conducted a raid at Idumota Market in Lagos, resulting in the arrest of Elizabeth Chidera Kalu. Authorities recovered 10,600 ampoules of diazepam injection and 6,500 tablets of Molly from her store.
