Gina to Host Investment Event in Empangeni

Dr Nomalungelo Gina, the Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, will host businesses and potential investors at a corporate investment event in Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal.

The uMkhanyakude District Corporate Investment Dinner aims to attract businesses and development partners to invest in the district, promoting inclusive economic growth across the region.

Gina will lead the event as the DDM champion for the district, alongside Thembeni kaMadlopha-Mthethwa, the MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development, and Executive Mayor Siphile Mdaka.

The event will highlight 11 catalytic projects, detailing their investment needs and potential partnership models such as public-private partnerships and build-operate-transfer arrangements.

Investors will be presented with opportunities in tourism, conservation, agriculture, urban development, aviation, infrastructure, property, and digital innovation.
