The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has raised doubts about Peter Obi’s chances of winning the 2027 presidential election. The party expressed concerns that Obi’s popularity from the 2023 general election may not carry over to the upcoming poll.

APC spokesman Seye Oladejo highlighted issues such as Obi’s political realignments and organisational capacity as factors that could hinder his electoral success.

Oladejo acknowledged Obi’s 2023 campaign generated enthusiasm, especially among young voters, through social media and public dissatisfaction. However, he questioned Obi’s movement across political parties, including APGA, PDP, and Labour Party, which raised concerns about ideological consistency.
