State Commissioner of Police, Patrick Daaor, disclosed the arrest on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, while parading suspects arrested for various crimes in the state.

The suspect allegedly murdered the woman, who had been living with him for about a year, and further mutilated her body, severed her breast, and attempted to remove her unborn child.

In an interview with newsmen, the suspect admitted to killing the woman, stating it was his first time committing such an act.

He claimed to have heard voices instructing him to kill her, but initially resisted due to her pregnancy.
