JI Launches Third Anti-Levy Protests Amid Power and Inflation Concerns

The JI has announced a third wave of anti-levy protests across the country, set to take place on Friday. The protests are part of an ongoing campaign against the levy, which has been under way for three to four months under the leadership of JI emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman.
Protesters have warned that if power outages continue without resolution, the party will escalate its campaign by organizing sit-ins at relevant government offices. The demonstrations are also linked to rising inflation, which has significantly impacted the purchasing power of ordinary citizens.
JI has been actively protesting power outages and inflation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with the party highlighting these issues as central to its current campaign.
