KOKO Business: Access Bank Launches Disability-Focused ICT Hub with HACEY and Project Enable

Access Bank Plc has partnered with HACEY Health Initiative and Project Enable to establish an ICT hub targeting persons living with disabilities.

Project Enable, a Nigerian civic organization, developed the hub with Access Bank and other partners to advance disability rights via ICT skill acquisition and job placement.

The hub is projected to serve 1,000 persons with disabilities in its inaugural year, providing pathways to corporate employment through specialized ICT courses like web development and graphic design.

Amaechi Okobi, Access Bank’s Head of Corporate Communications, confirmed the bank’s ongoing commitment to disability support during the hub’s launch, emphasizing its role in fostering inclusive economic participation.

Twenty participants will gain employment in corporate settings after completing the ICT training, which includes courses in web development and graphic design.

Access Bank has also engaged key stakeholders to further boost productivity among persons with disabilities through collaborative initiatives.
