ADC Proposes Fuel Subsidy Intervention to Alleviate High Prices

KOKO Business | People, Ideas, Markets, Growth | ADC Proposes Fuel Subsidy Intervention to Alleviate High Prices

ADC National Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi stated the party will subsidize crude oil production to lower fuel costs for Nigerians, emphasizing the government must intervene to protect citizens from high fuel prices rather than allow market forces to dictate pricing. This position aligns with Atiku Abubakar’s belief that Nigerians should not face the burden of expensive fuel without subsidy.

Abdullahi clarified the ADC’s commitment to subsidizing crude production to deliver cheaper fuel, asserting that the party will take necessary actions to ensure Nigerians receive affordable fuel despite current market conditions. He stressed that leaving people without subsidy would be unacceptable.
