Amanyanabo Challenges Olu of Warri on ₦2.7 Trillion Pipeline Security Payments

KOKO Business | People, Ideas, Markets, Growth | Amanyanabo Challenges Olu of Warri on ₦2.7 Trillion Pipeline Security Payments

The Amanyanabo of the Source, Elem Kalabari, Torusaramapiri, Da Amakiri Tubo, Alhaji Mujahid Abubakr Dokubo-Asari, has demanded verifiable evidence from the Olu of Warri and social commentator Joel Omosere Agho regarding allegations involving ₦2.7 trillion in pipeline security payments.

The Amanyanabo emphasized transparency, accountability, and contractual responsibilities over personal attacks, stating the controversy should not center on name-calling but on the actions of those managing pipeline security contracts.

Alabo Daerefa-a Christopher Braide, the Palace’s Spokesman and Chief Press Secretary, noted the Olu of Warri’s recent response failed to address substantive questions posed by Da Amakiri Tubo during a live broadcast.

This broadcast followed Agho’s comments on Niger Delta leaders’ earnings from pipeline security arrangements, including High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, known as Tompolo, and Dokubo-Asari.

The Amanyanabo clarified he was not defending Tompolo but questioned selective criticism of Niger Delta figures while other alleged beneficiaries of pipeline security contracts received less scrutiny.
