APC Osun Leader Critiques Opposition Fuel Subsidy Proposals

Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Osun State, warned opposition presidential candidates against promising fuel subsidy restoration. He described such pledges as unrealistic and potentially triggering public chaos.
Oyintiloye specifically targeted African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar and Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate Peter Obi, urging them to present economically feasible proposals aligned with Nigeria’s fiscal realities. He also questioned Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) presidential candidate Donald Duke’s pledge to peg petrol prices at N300 per litre.
Oyintiloye stated that returning Nigeria to fuel subsidy eras is practically impossible under current fiscal conditions. He warned that majority of opposition promises constitute a recipe for public chaos if implemented.
