KOKO Business | People, Ideas, Markets, Growth | Blessing CEO Arraigned Over Alleged Fraud in Property Lease Deal

Blessing CEO faced charges from the EFCC on June 9, 2026, for allegedly obtaining N69,150,000 through false pretence involving a property lease. A prosecution witness, Dr Onuoha Okeigwe, testified that she paid this amount for a five-year lease on a property Blessing CEO did not own. The defendant claimed ownership of the same property while leasing it to multiple individuals.

The EFCC's Lagos Zonal Directorate arraigned Blessing CEO on two counts: obtaining money by false pretence and stealing. The alleged fraud occurred on or about March 21, 2025, when Blessing CEO induced Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited to transfer N69,150,000 under false claims of property ownership.
