Dangote Cement Enhances Driver Safety Across Africa

Dangote Cement Plc, Africa’s leading cement conglomerate, has increased its focus on road safety by implementing measures to enhance drivers’ awareness, skills, and adherence to best practices throughout its operations on the continent.

At the 2026 Drivers Safety Retreat held at the Dangote Cement Plc, Obajana Plant in Kogi State, Mr Arvind Pathak, Group Managing Director of the company, emphasized the importance of prioritizing safe driving practices across all its African operations.

Pathak reiterated the company’s dedication to the safety and well-being of its drivers, urging them to ensure safe travel and return home after each journey. He also highlighted the critical role drivers play in delivering products safely and efficiently.
