Egypt Prepares Economic Plan for 2026 Forum

Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly is assessing the National Economic Transformation Programme, which seeks to establish a resilient economy for sustainable growth, in preparation for its unveiling at the Egypt Forum 2026.
Madbouly convened with Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk and Minister of Planning and Economic Development Ahmed Rostom to discuss the programme's role as a central theme for the forum, which was initiated by President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.
The government plans to leverage the forum to communicate a clear and detailed economic strategy to citizens, the private sector, and the broader business community.
Officials also explored ways to enhance economic benefits from state-owned assets and infrastructure in key industries.
