FirstBank Group to Host West Africa Banking Dialogue in Lagos

FirstBank Group will host the West Africa International Banking Dialogue & Awards Gala on 14 October 2026 in Lagos, Nigeria. The event will convene banking leaders, regulators, policymakers, industry experts, and key stakeholders from across the region to address future banking and financial services in West Africa.

The Bank will highlight digital transformation, financial inclusion, regulatory developments, sustainable finance, and regional economic integration as central discussion topics.

FirstBank Group has been recognized as Best Retail Bank in Nigeria, Best SME Bank in Nigeria, and Best SME Bank in Africa by The Asian Banker.

The Bank received Best Retail Bank in Nigeria for the ninth consecutive year in 2025 and has earned Best SME Bank in Nigeria and Best SME Bank in Africa honours in successive years.
