Indonesia and West Africa Forge Business Ties at Regional Forum

Indonesian business actors showcased products to African delegates at the Indonesia-West Africa Business Meeting and B-to-B Networking event in South Tangerang, Banten, on Friday, October 16, 2026. This initiative aligns with the Indonesian Embassy in Dakar, Senegal's optimism about bilateral business cooperation between Indonesian and West African entrepreneurs.

Ambassador Ardian Wicaksono, accredited to multiple West African nations, emphasized Indonesia's complementary export potential with West African countries. He noted that both regions share dynamic markets and active private sectors seeking reliable partners during the forum.

The embassy collaborated with Kadin Indonesia to host the forum alongside the 2026 Trade Expo Indonesia. Approximately 70 business delegates from 44 companies across six West African nations attended, representing the highest regional participation in five years.
