Influencer Blessing CEO Allegedly Deceived Businessman into Paying N69.15 Million for Unowned Lekki Property

A Lagos court heard testimony from Dr Onuoha Okeigwe, who claimed he paid N69.15 million for a five-year lease of a Lekki property allegedly owned by social media influencer Blessing Nkiruka, known as Blessing CEO. Okeigwe stated he received photographs via WhatsApp from Blessing CEO to prove ownership, though she maintained she did not know him and owned the property.

Okeigwe further alleged that Blessing CEO collected funds from another individual for the same property, asserting her claim to ownership despite not being the actual owner. The influencer’s defense included statements that she was the property’s owner, contradicting the prosecution’s evidence of deception.
