Israel Demolishes West Bank Neighborhood After Attack

Israel commenced demolitions in a West Bank city following a shooting attack that resulted in the deaths of two soldiers. The incident occurred after Palestinian gunmen opened fire on an Israeli military checkpoint, prompting immediate action by Israeli forces.

The attack led to the injury of three additional soldiers, according to the Israel Defense Forces. The IDF stated it was implementing a full siege on Hebron, escalating tensions in the region.

Prime Minister Netanyahu ordered a complete closure of the West Bank and planned to forcibly evacuate the area of the attack. This strategy mirrors past operations in refugee camps, which resulted in the displacement of thousands of Palestinians.
