Tinubu Campaign to Kick Off in Kaduna on October 24

Senator Abdulaziz Yari, director-general of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, says President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign will begin in Kaduna on October 24. Yari gave the date after meeting Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, where he briefed the president on campaign preparations and a proposed schedule of state visits.

Yari said the council will hold its inaugural meeting on October 14 at the State House Banquet Hall in Abuja. He said Port Harcourt and Maiduguri would follow Kaduna, while the full schedule would be released after the council’s inauguration.

Yari said Tinubu approved the proposed state-visit schedule and defended the administration’s economic policies. Those views are Yari’s assessment. The dates announced for the council meeting and Kaduna flag-off were October 14 and October 24, respectively.
