KOKO Business | People, Ideas, Markets, Growth | NCCIA Busted Three Firms for Creating Cartoon Porn

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) claimed to have busted three firms for their alleged involvement in creating explicit animated content. The agency stated that these firms were accused of digitally manipulating cartoon and animated characters to produce nude and sexually explicit material.

According to an NCCIA source, the companies approached graphic designers through digital media and other channels. The designers were not informed about the nature of the work until after they were hired.

Most of the employees at the firms were young illustrators hired at monthly salaries ranging from Rs25,000 to Rs40,000. The NCCIA alleged that these firms were creating the content for foreign clients.
