The Nigerian federal government aims to enhance economic and investment partnerships with Germany, focusing on export credit guarantees totaling €25 million and €300 million. Minister Bagudu emphasized these guarantees as critical for expanding investment opportunities and optimizing resource utilization in Nigeria’s economic strategy.

Germany’s support has historically aided Nigeria’s reform efforts, with high-level engagements during the Nigerian President’s visit to Germany advancing energy agreements. Minister Bagudu noted that German collaboration with institutions like the World Bank, IMF, and EU has been instrumental in securing progress on key reforms.

Rössel, who recently arrived in Nigeria, reaffirmed the enduring strength of bilateral relations and Germany’s dedication to furthering cooperative achievements between the two nations.
