Nimbus Aid Foundation Pushes Financial Education for Girls

Nimbus Aid Foundation, in partnership with Sycamore, has emphasized the importance of early financial education for teenage girls to foster economic independence and entrepreneurship.
The initiative was launched at EQUIP HER 2026, an event organized by Nimbus Aid Foundation, Sycamore, and Dansol High School to commemorate the International Day of the Girl Child in Lagos.
Mr Edward Israel-Ayide, a trustee and Director of Communications of Nimbus Aid Foundation, stated that the program aims to provide girls with the knowledge needed for sound financial decisions and active economic participation.
Israel-Ayide mentioned that the foundation has invested about five years in supporting female entrepreneurs and now plans to expand its efforts to younger girls to prepare them for future economic opportunities.
The foundation intends to broaden its financial literacy and entrepreneurship programs to more schools across Nigeria.
