NNPC Reports N28.54 Trillion Revenue in 2026 First Eight Months

NNPC recorded cumulative revenue of N28.54 trillion for the first eight months of 2026, with August revenue reaching N3.74 trillion, a 21.1 per cent month-on-month increase from July's N3.087 trillion. Profit after tax rose 54.5 per cent to N431 billion in August, up from N279 billion in July.

The company's revenue trajectory in 2026 showed sequential growth from N2.571 trillion in January to N4.971 trillion in April, followed by fluctuations through May and June before declining to N3.087 trillion in July. Profit after tax similarly increased to N431 billion in August after a pattern of monthly adjustments.

NNPC's statutory payments to the government in August totaled N1.574 trillion, contributing to a cumulative payment of N9.487 trillion for the year 2026.
