OPay Limited reported a 136.5% year-over-year increase in profit after tax for the first half of 2026, with revenue rising to $90.87 million from $21.71 million. Operating profit also grew by 136.5% to $131.24 million from $35.80 million. The company disclosed these figures in its October 9 registration statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

Lending services now contribute 50.6% of total revenue, up from payment-related services, after income from loans surged 167.9% to $236.12 million. However, rising credit losses and loan write-offs threaten the sustainability of this earnings expansion as OPay prepares for a US listing and a secondary Nigerian listing.
