WuXi AppTec Boosts 2026 Revenue Outlook Amid Profit Growth

WuXi AppTec, a leading Chinese biotech company, has updated its 2026 revenue forecast following a significant increase in net profit. The company reported a 62.4 per cent rise in net profit for the first nine months of 2026, driven by robust demand for its drug development and manufacturing services.

According to a filing with the Hong Kong stock exchange, WuXi AppTec's net profit reached 19.16 billion yuan for the nine months ended September 30, compared to 11.80 billion yuan in the same period the previous year.

The company also saw its revenue increase to 45.54 billion yuan from 32.86 billion yuan during the same period, reflecting strong performance in its core business areas.
