YORA Summit Launches Economic Transformation Agenda for Africa

The Year of Return Africa (YORA) Summit & Expo 2026 began at Broadwalk Mall, Westlands, Nairobi, on Tuesday, October 13. Its opening day focused on investment, entrepreneurship, innovation, and strategic partnerships to accelerate Africa’s economic transformation.

Sheida Mutuku delivered the YORA Vision Address during the opening ceremony, followed by a global keynote from Steven Trullinger on Africa’s potential to lead the next economic century.

The summit’s next phase begins Wednesday, October 14, with the 'Build Africa' programme emphasizing enterprise development, the creative economy, sports business, media, and entertainment sectors. YORA activities extend to Kilifi and Vipingo Ridge from October 16–17, featuring coastal investment engagements, the YORA Golf Invitational, and the YORA Awards Gala.
