APC Governors Face Challenges in Power Dynamics

APC governors are encountering difficulties in maintaining their influence amid shifting power dynamics within the party. The situation has led to a growing tension, particularly with the emergence of the Rainbow Coalition, which is seen as a significant factor in this power struggle.

Some APC governors find the Rainbow Coalition's approach uncomfortable, as it appears to be reshaping the internal power structure. Despite this, certain leaders, such as Wike, are perceived as being in a stronger position due to their strategic calculations.

The political landscape has become more complex, with President Tinubu's absence in France adding to the uncertainty. Previous analyses suggested potential conflicts between Wike and APC governors, and the current situation remains unresolved.
