Kaduna Governor Resolves Land Dispute, Provides Alternative Plots

Governor Uba Sani has resolved a long-standing land dispute in Kaduna State, providing alternative plots to affected communities. The resolution follows a 10-year conflict involving the military and local inhabitants.
The governor promised that no community will be left homeless, emphasizing the importance of human dignity and life. This pledge was made during the distribution of land titles to communities in Igabi Local Government Area.
The affected communities, including Unguwan Malam Auta and Unguwan Alhassan, received 704 houses as part of the settlement. Governor Uba Sani directed the Kaduna State Geographic Information Service to allocate land plots, including farmlands, to the communities.
