Pakistan, Qatar Boost Internal Security Ties

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Qatar's interior minister, have agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in internal security. The decision was made following their meeting in Doha, where they exchanged views on strengthening collaboration in this area.

A statement from the Interior Ministry said the meeting reaffirmed the commitment to deepening cooperation between the two countries' interior ministries. It also mentioned that a plan was established to improve mutual partnership in internal security matters.

The meeting occurred a day after Naqvi spoke at the 8th Global Security Forum in Doha, where he highlighted the joint efforts between Pakistan and Qatar to foster regional peace and stability.
