Former Governor Nasir El'Rufai has lost a legal case against the Department of State Services (DSS), the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and the Attorney General of the Federation.

The court ordered El'Rufai to pay each of the agencies N200,000 following the dismissal of his fundamental rights enforcement suit. The case was brought before the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Maitama, Abuja.

El'Rufai had previously claimed that the agencies had violated his fundamental rights, but the court rejected his claims and ruled in favor of the agencies.
