Dangote Expands Petroleum Infrastructure Across Africa

Dangote Group is expanding its petroleum distribution infrastructure across East, Central and Southern Africa to address supply challenges and enhance energy security. The industrialist emphasized the need to reduce logistical bottlenecks and strengthen the continent's energy supply system.
The Group has acquired a 25 per cent stake in a petroleum pipeline network in Kenya, as disclosed during a conversation with Financial Times journalist David Pilling. This investment is part of a broader strategy to improve the movement of refined petroleum products across the continent.
Dangote confirmed the acquisition of the Kenyan pipeline network, stating that the move was supported by the President of Kenya. The expansion includes projects connecting Djibouti to Ethiopia, as well as investments in Cameroon and Namibia.
