Tinubu Supports Local Engineers for Gas Pipeline Expansion

President Bola Tinubu has emphasized the importance of local engineering firms in unlocking Nigeria’s gas resources. His support aims to enhance industrial power, electricity supply, job creation, and export revenue.
The ELPS pipeline system, designed to carry 2.3 billion standard cubic feet of gas per day, requires compressor stations to operate at full capacity. Lee Engineering Group is constructing these stations to achieve this goal.
Tinubu’s remarks occurred during a meeting with Lee Engineering Group’s founder, Chief Dr Leemon Ikpea, at the State House in Abuja. The ELPS II expansion increased the pipeline’s capacity from 1.1 billion to 2.3 billion standard cubic feet of gas per day.
