Igbo Group Supports Obi Amid Threats

A socio-political group, Igbo Agenda Dialogue (IAD), has rejected threats from Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and Anambra state governor, Chukwuma Soludo, asserting that these would not affect the prospects of Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate Peter Obi.

Chief Chekwas Okorie, the National Chairman of IAD, stated at a press briefing in Abuja that responding to Soludo’s threats would be a distraction, emphasizing that both Soludo and Obi were products of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).

The IAD group also noted that Soludo should be aware of his remaining three and half years in office, as part of their broader stance against any attempts to undermine Obi’s campaign.
