Ogun State NYSC Members to Get ₦50,000 Cash Support

Ogun State has approved a one-off ₦50,000 cash support for 3,050 NYSC members, aiming to ease financial pressures during their service period. The initiative is part of broader efforts to assist young Nigerians facing economic challenges.

The cash assistance is intended to provide immediate relief to corps members as they undergo orientation. The state government has also approved 500 mattresses for the NYSC camp in Sagamu to improve living conditions.

The additional ₦50,000 per corps member is a targeted measure to address the financial strain experienced by participants in the NYSC program. The move reflects ongoing support for the welfare of young Nigerians.
