Gabd Border Reopened for Trade

The Gabd border crossing with Iran has been reopened, allowing commercial vehicles to resume operations. Border officials permitted commercial consignments with notes dated Oct 16 or earlier to cross at the Gabd-Rimdan point, known as Gate 250, in Gwadar.
Mir Naveed Jan Kalmati, president of the Gwadar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated that trade operations resumed on Saturday morning. He noted that the border was opened this morning, enabling trucks and other vehicles to move with import and export goods.
Kalmati expressed support for the decision, highlighting that the resumption of cross-border commerce will provide immediate relief to traders and transporters affected by the border closure.
