FinMin Addresses Fuel Shortage Concerns

The Ministry of Finance is working to ease concerns about potential fuel shortages. During a ceremony at a private university in Lahore, Aurangzeb stated that Pakistan has managed to avoid energy shortages, long lines at petrol stations, and related law-and-order issues.
Aurangzeb's comments came after a Senate debate on Friday, where PPP Senator Sherry Rehman raised concerns about petrol availability through December, citing the ongoing conflict in the Middle East as a contributing factor.
In response to Senate inquiries about fuel affordability, Bilal Azhar Kayani, the Minister of State for Finance and Revenue, stated there was no fuel supply issue and noted over 10 million people were receiving targeted fuel subsidies.
