Mamelodi Receives New Cruyff Soccer Court

Mamelodi has received a new Cruyff Soccer Court, offering young footballers a modern space to train and develop their skills. The facility, launched on 20 October, was introduced by Rhiza Babuyile in partnership with the Johan Cruyff Foundation.

The refurbished court is designed to foster life skills, discipline, and teamwork among local youth. It provides a safe environment for children facing social and economic challenges to play, build friendships, and gain confidence.

The project marks the first-ever Cruyff Court in the township, transforming a previously rundown soccer area into a state-of-the-art training ground. This initiative aims to keep young people active and engaged through structured sports activities.
