KOKO Business | People, Ideas, Markets, Growth | Dangote Refinery IPO Sees Rising Investor Interest

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has experienced a notable increase in investor subscriptions as its Initial Public Offering (IPO) nears its closing date on October 27, 2026. The company confirmed that the offer will proceed as planned without any further extensions, encouraging investors to finalize their subscriptions before the deadline.

The heightened interest comes after the release of the refinery’s nine-month financial results, which revealed a revenue of $22.5 billion and a net profit of $4.73 billion for the period ending September 30, 2026. Management cited the financial performance and the refinery’s contribution to Africa’s energy security and industrial development as key factors driving investor confidence.

Subscriptions for the IPO have been received from individuals, institutional investors, and other investors across Nigeria, Africa, and international markets. The company highlighted the IPO as an opportunity to acquire a stake in one of the continent’s significant industrial projects.
