President Commends Dangote Group’s Economic Contributions

During a visit to the Dangote Group pavilion at the 32nd Nigeria Economic Summit, the President expressed appreciation for the Group's business performance. The commendation occurred at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja on Monday.

The President highlighted the significance of private-sector investments in boosting economic activities and national development. He specifically noted the Group's role in expanding productive capacity and supporting growth.

The Dangote Group operates in several key industries, including cement manufacturing, fertiliser production, sugar refining, salt processing, and petroleum refining. It is also the second-largest employer of labor in Nigeria, following the federal government.

The President’s remarks emphasize the need for continued cooperation between the government and private sector to enhance Nigeria's economic resilience and competitiveness. The Dangote Group's involvement in strategic industries supports the country's industrialization goals.
