Ifedayo Olaniyi Orimoloye became Executive Director for Risk Management at Access Bank on 21 September 2026, following regulatory approval. He brings more than 25 years of risk experience across financial institutions in Africa, Europe and the United States. Before joining the bank, he was Group Chief Risk Officer at the African Development Bank, where he oversaw a portfolio exceeding US$40 billion.

His earlier roles included senior risk positions at Sterling Bank, Ecobank Transnational, Wells Fargo, HSBC and Citigroup. His work has covered enterprise risk, capital optimisation, credit governance, compliance and institutional transformation. Orimoloye holds degrees in economics and finance and an MBA in finance. The appointment gives Access Bank a risk leader with experience across different regulatory environments and complex portfolios, at a time when governance and credit discipline remain central to banking performance.
