He brings more than 26 years of international leadership experience across beverages, fast-moving consumer goods, manufacturing and agro-industry. His earlier roles include managing Unique Beverages in Angola and serving as Sales and Marketing Director for a PepsiCo bottling franchise.
Before joining Champion, Sampath held a joint-venture managing-director role and served as Chief Marketing Officer at Indorama Eleme Fertilizers in Nigeria. He was also chief executive of Global Industries, a Wilmar International joint venture in Zambia. He holds an MBA from Symbiosis Institute and a business administration degree from the University of Chennai. His current remit combines manufacturing execution, brand portfolio growth and commercial performance at a Nigerian listed brewer.
