NDOKWAFORWARD emphasized that the intervention aims to enhance livelihoods and foster economic self-reliance among residents if executed effectively, as stated by Samuel Osasa, Esq., Omordi George Ugbomah, PhD, and Chief Isaac Onyesom.

The group argued that the effectiveness of government policies should be evaluated based on their influence on citizens' lives, especially their capacity to earn a living, support families, and establish sustainable businesses.

NDOKWAFORWARD highlighted the significance of small businesses to Delta State’s economy, noting their role in employment, household support, and community development.

The organization stated that the program's success should be evident in enhanced business performance, higher household incomes, and expanded economic activities within communities.

While acknowledging Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s focus on Deltans’ welfare, NDOKWAFORWARD urged the need for a more comprehensive economic strategy to support the empowerment initiative.

The group asserted that Delta State possesses the necessary human and economic resources for greater prosperity, but stressed the importance of consistent policies to allow residents to actively contribute to the economy rather than rely on government aid.
